3D Vehicle Detection System

The 3D Vehicle Detection System provides a high quality 3D file with vehicle height, width, length and volume.

Typical applications are:

  • Analysis of trucks in ports 
  • Analysis of vehicles at borders (e.g.  in combination with X-ray machines)
  • Weigh-in-motion. This application is useful when you need to obtain vehicle classification data
  • Tolling systems
 

The 3D file generated by the system is a Point Cloud file. This format is a standard for 3D images that are created by laser scanner detectors. A 3D file viewer provided with the system, allows you to view, move and rotate the vehicle image for a detailed analysis.
