SUCCESSFULL INSTALLATION OF 3D PROFILERS IN INDONESIA
COMARK is well known for its ability in merging and combining different kind of technologies. Following this vision, COMARK has developed the PROFILER, a product that consists of a combination of three laser scanners. This is the technology and the type of sensors used in Indonesia for the WIM application. The aim is to detect with 3D resolution and high accuracy the height, width and length of the vehicle, providing a fully detailed 3D “point cloud” image. COMARKK’s client in INDONESIA has installed the profilers in order to measure vehicles traveling at a reduced or normal traffic speed and do not require the vehicle to come to a stop. This makes the weighing process more efficient, and, in the case of trucks under the weight limit to bypass inspection.
