Description
USMI9610 is a sensor that detects vehicles using a combination of microwave radar, ultrasound, and infrared technologies.
The radar provides the system with the ability to accurately measure the length and speed of the vehicle using the “doppler” effect. The ultrasonic and infrared sensors are entrusted with other functionalities, including counting vehicles at low speeds and detecting the vehicle’s height.
The set of data collected allows, by using appropriate algorithms, to obtain an accurate classification of vehicles.
The USMI 9601 sensors are installed over the lane oriented on incoming traffic. The data collected/processed foreach vehicle are:
INSTALLATION
The triple technology sensors must be installed above the center of each lane
