In this article we will concentrate on our flagship RAM 110, the highest performing detector of our portfolio. The only product in the market capable of combining the laser scanner and single beam laser technologies. Our challenge was to merge the data provided by the two sensors and put them together.

Here’s the result of our challenge:

• Laser scanner combined with single beam laser;
• Catch even small items on the top of the over-height vehicle;
• Avoid triggering false alarms caused by several prevalent conditions, such as flying birds, fog and snow
• Cover up to five lanes at the same time;
• Count and classify vehicles.
